Job Summary:
Coordinate and execute implementation of HR services, policies, and programs; reports to the Executive Vice President/CFO; assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues. Breadth of position expectations:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Administer HR policies according to executive level direction
- Manage daily benefits program implementations and interaction with employees
- Review and advise on Benefit Programs (renewals, revisions and additional programs). Develop and maintain benefit program descriptions/manual
- Coordinate/execute new hire recruiting and hiring activities
- Develop and maintain overall NewGround on-boarding orientation programs.
- Monitor quality and application of individual department training programs
- Oversee completion of employee evaluation/progress program
- Conduct and summarize employee annual survey
- Assure notification and compliance with critical policies and regulations such as equal employment, sexual harassment, and worker’s compensation
- Compliance and working knowledge of various HR related laws/regulations such as mandated health and other benefits in various states, FMLA, COBRA, FLSA
- Work with employment law legal counsel as needed
- Other administrative areas such as:
- Maintain employment and personnel records
- Bi-weekly payroll, vacation and PTO reporting
- Monthly staffing and salary reporting
- Administer 401k plan
- Maintain NG directory
- Manage company credit card program
- Miscellaneous office tasks (business cards, employment verifications, etc.)
- Manage annual United Way campaign
- Manage annual Health Fair and Wellness Program
