Client Summary:

Our client is a well respected automotive, Tier 1 supplier of parts to the automotive industry.  Their facility is located in the northwest end of the GTA, and they are growing due to new business in their manufacturing area.

 

Position Summary:

Responsible for all day-to-day activities related to Staffing, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Training and general Employee Relations to ensure improved quality of work life for all employees in accordance with the principles of the company.

 

Qualifications

·         Completion of University degree in a related field

·         Post Secondary Diploma/Certificate in Human Resources Management and/or Occupational Health Safety

·         Minimum 2 to 5 years experience in a similar role

·         Proficiency with software applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes (experience with PeopleSoft is an asset)

·         Sound knowledge of applicable legislation (e.g., Employment Standards, Human Rights, OSHA, WSIB, Pay Equity)

·         Experience in recruitment and selection, training assessment, performance management, employee relations, and compensation management  an asset
