Human Resource Manager for Marco Crane Rigging Co. Affiliates

We have locations in Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City.

 

Our Corporate Office is located in Phoenix, Arizona and has a total of 70 employees at this location.  This Human Resources/Manager position is located in Phoenix, Arizona.

 

The Human Resource Manager guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs within the Company.  The Human Resource Manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.  The Human Resource Manager reports to the Vice President of Marco and Affiliates, and works in close coordination with managers and corporate officers.

Responsibilities Include:

 

Employment placing:

A)    Recruit and hire staff, including job posting, screening of applicants, creating hiring timelines, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, processing background checks/applicant profiles, and ensuring compliance with the Company’s New Hire Procedure.

B)    Conduct Human Resources training for new hires.

C)    Conduct surveys on new employees post hire.

D)    Assist in separation of employees, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring
compliance with the Company’s Termination Procedure.

E)    Improve the hiring process of the Company.

 

Increase Performance of Employees:

A)    Enhance morale and productivity of current employees.

B)    Provide training and development opportunities to improve skills of employees.

C)    Increase employees' satisfaction with their jobs and working conditions.

D)    Responsible for a wide array of programs to enhance employee safety and wellness
    and improve work-life balance.

E)    Implement employee services and counseling.

F)    Responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the
     achievement of the organization's business goals.

G)    Assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.

Legal:

A)    Knowledge of all company policies.

B)    Stay current with changes in labor laws (Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative
     Action, Americans with Disabilities Act, etc.)

C)    Keep current on changing Federal and State regulations and legislation that may
     affect employee benefits.

 

Benefits Program Administration:

A)    Assist the Company 401(k) Trustee in management of the 401(k) program administration.

B)    Assist the Company ESOP Trustee in management of the ESOP program administration.

C)    Assist in the management of the medical/dental/vision program administration.

D)    Assist in the management of other benefits program administration (i.e. deferred compensation, flexible spending account).

 

Administrative:

A)    Assist in creating and updating company policies and procedures which relate to
     the Human Resources Department.

B)    Update and create job descriptions for all positions in the Company.

C)    Update and create performance evaluations for all positions in the Company.

D)    Manage timely performance evaluations for all position in the Company.

E)    Administer the Company’s employee benefits program.

F)    Assist in updating the employee handbooks.

G)    Organizational departmental planning.

 

Safety:

A)    Follow all safety procedures and policies in order to prevent incidents and ensure safety for all employees.

B)    Identify and report any safety issues to the safety department.

C)    Attend all branch safety meetings.


Candidate Requirements:

·         5+ years in Human Resources Management – MUST HAVE!

·         Experience supervising at least 5-10 employees – MUST HAVE!

·         Experience managing benefits programs – MUST HAVE!

·         Excellent Analytical Skills – MUST HAVE!

·         Excellent People Skills – proven record at being a part of a team – MUST HAVE!

·         Strong understanding of building professional relationships with our Employees to ensure strong communication lines are open and frequently utilized – MUST HAVE!

·         Accounting experience or background – Preferred!
