Human Resource Representative
Why John Deere
- Participate in workforce planning activities such as establishing job requirements, candidate selection and interviewing for various levels of responsibility.
- Advise management on the interpretation of human resource and company policies and procedures.
- Collect and analyze information and data to make appropriate decisions.
- Coordinate activities involving the contingent staffing supplier relationship.
- Conduct and coordinate delivery of training courses using both internal and external resources.
- Lead projects to achieve Human Resources strategic and tactical goals.
What It Takes
- 2 years experience in a HR Generalist role.
- Working knowledge of all applicable employment laws and regulations as well as HR processes such as: employee relations, compensation and benefits, job analysis, employee communication and training.
- Ability to address sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience counseling and advising management on interpretation of policies and procedures, handling difficult conversations and complex manager/employee issues.
- Exceptional customer service and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Ability to collect and analyze information to make appropriate decisions.
- Experience using standard desktop software applications such as Microsoft Office.
