Human Resources Assistant Job in Ocala 34470, Florida US

Prepare and post job vacancy notices, prepare and fax employment ads, preliminary screening of employment applications, schedule interviews as needed, mail out interview rejection letters, prepare interview packets for interview team as needed, participate on interviews teams as needed, verify employment and educations references on non-exempt applicants, communicate with applicants regarding employability and the status of their employment applications, process and prepare paperwork related to workers’ compensation, process and maintain FMLA administration .  Provide information to employees regarding the FMLA process and eligibility, process and administrate the employee benefits program, prepare and process enrollment forms and distribution transaction forms for the retirement plan, process and maintain COBRA administration, insurance billing, communicate benefits to employees and participate and/or conduct employee orientation and training, filing as need, compile reports as necessary, assist the personnel manager with other clerical functions and projects, assist the senior human resources manager with other clerical functions and projects.

AS degree in a related field is preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

Must have experience with HRIS data base program like Abra Suite, ADP, People Soft or People Trak
