Human Resources Business Partner

Complete understanding of generalknowledge of HR practices, policies, and standards. General application of concepts and principles. Counsel employees and management up to senior levels, recommends changes to policy, practices and procedures. Drive project planning and implementation for Human Capital projects within the sectors. Works under general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Contributes to the completion of specific projects. Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources. Supports Business Area Directors regarding basic strategy and day to day support (i.e. Employee Relations, training, employment policies, benefits and compensation). Required Education: BS/BA Required Experience: Experience managing human resources in a union environment.
