Position Overview
Due to expansion in our HR Department, we have an immediate opening for experienced Human Resources Coordinator. The qualified candidate will have at least four years of HR experience working in a multi-state capacity with a strong understanding of DOL regulations, Affirmative Action Planning and Employee Licensing and Compliance.
Other areas of experience must include a firm grasp of multiple Applicant Tracking Systems, Benefits Administration (including Workers Compensation) and proven leadership ability. Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience working in the security industry or with other service related contractor and/or a candidate with training experience
Responsibilities:
- Leads the daily execution of HR plans and goals as directed by the VP of HR and upper management staff
- Must be able to effectively lead a team of supervisory staff in the daily Human Resources functions of the company in multiple states
- Facilitates Diamond’s Affirmative Action Program and Applicant Tracking System
- Works closely with Diamond’s HR and Operations staff and vendors to manage the recruitment strategy and budget
- Administration of the Workers Compensation Program
- Assist in the administration of the Health Insurance Program
- Facilitate the company’s Random Drug Testing Program
- Work closely with the Director of Training and Licensing in facilitating the company’s training program
- Any responsibilities of subordinate HR staff as specified in HR Associate’s job description
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree and/or PHR preferred
- Must have a solid 4-6 years of HR experience, preferably in a lead role
- Experience must include a solid foundation in recruitment, Applicant Tracking Systems, Drug Testing Programs, WC Administration, DOL, and Affirmative Action Plans
- Experience in training and/or a security related industry required
- Excelling communication, organization and prioritization skills
- Must have proven experience in leading a team
- Must have a clear criminal background
