Human Resources Coordinator Job in Lancaster 43130, Ohio US
We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator for our Lancaster, Ohio location. Please see the job description below. All applicants must have previous HR experience with over 300 employees.
Duties:
Daily/Weekly:
- Update Hiring Log
- E-mail copy to CEO, VP of Manufacturing, Plant Manager and VP of Admin (weekly)
- Post up Job listing in break rooms (bi-weekly)
- Contact Temporary agency to fill positions (as needed)
- Make folder for temps
- Print screen timecards for temps and send to agencies (weekly)
- Track eligible temps up for permanent employment to Plant management
- Replace non-qualified temps
- Application Process
- Sort through applications and resumes
- Check applicant references and previous employment dates
- Rehires – Request proper documentation for approval to Plant Manager from Corp.
- Interview applicants for production positions
- Show open positions in the warehouse
- Schedule new hire processing and safety orientations
- Process new hires (as needed)
- Have New hire complete paperwork
- Request Background checks and BPI from Corp. (update log as needed)
- Send new hire to physical and/or drug test (if position required)
- Request new hire badge from Corp.
- Enter in new hires into Ceridian
- Place new hire checklist in supervisors’ inbox before employee’s start date
- Enroll plant new hires in time clock/Show employee how to clock IN and OUT
- For all new hires conduct 1 week follow up interviews
- Run 90 day Review reports
- Track reviews
- Pass out 90 day t-shirts when review is received
- Send Transfers to physicals/drug tests (as needed)
- Update drug test results in Ceridian HR and Outlook public folder
- Complete Employee Verifications or wage requests
- Pass out birthday cards gifts for Employees (daily)
- Put up posting of changes or information for employees (as needed)
- Check suggestion boxes weekly
- E-mail copy to CEO, VP of Manufacturing, Plant Manager and VP of Admin (weekly)
- Send original to Corp. HR
- Give employee a thank you card for suggestions given
- Take Employee statements/complaints - translate and type
- Keep HR Manager informed on employee complaints/statements
- Inform VP of Admin and HR Manager over all Harassment complaints immediately
- Enter information into the HR/Payroll system
- Update employee’s information as needed under the following Side tabs:
Ø Employee - Personal and dependent info
Ø Job and Comp – Employment, Job, Base Comp, ADA and Reviews
Ø Payroll – Base, Tax and Direct Deposit
Ø Attendance – FMLA and Other
Ø Credentials – Awards, Company Training and Other Training
Ø Labor Relations – Discipline
Ø Safety and Health – Emergency and Health
- Scan reviews, warnings and exit interviews in HR shared drive and attach into the HR/Payroll system
- E-mail copy of exit interviews to CEO, VP of Mfg, Plant Manager and VP of Admin (after entering)
Payroll:
- Edit timesheets (weekly)
- Add Hours from Absentee memos (as needed)
- Check for time cards that have errors
- Fix paychecks by department and distribute to managers (weekly)
- Add employees to the time clock (when employee has problems clocking in)
- 90 day performance reviews and pay increases (as needed)
Benefits:
- 90 day eligible/open enrollment (handle paperwork for employees)
- Scan forms on HR shared drive and Send completed forms to Benefit Coordinator
FMLA for Eligible Employees:
· Distribute and Process FMLA paperwork
· Track EE absences: update employee timecard and HR/Payroll system
· Track EE benefits while out
LOA Eligible Employees:
- Verify eligibility and get approval from appropriate management
- Track EE absences: update employee timecard and HR/Payroll system
- Track EE benefits while out
**Work on special projects as assigned and whatever other functions are necessary to help out as designated by my superiors.
