Summary:

Strategic partner who contributes to the development and accomplishments of the Company.  Contributes as a member of Senior Management in designated function(s), understanding lines of business and partnering in the development and implementation of business strategies and goals through active consultation and participation.  Responsible for all of the functions that deal with the needs and activities of 3C Network, its staff, and its Member Companies including these areas of responsibility: Recruiting, Hiring, Training, Organization Development, Communication, Position Management, Performance Management, Coaching, Policy Recommendation, Salary and Benefits, Team Building, Employee Relations, Leadership.

Westminster, CO

 

Responsibilties:

·         Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.

·         Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.

·         Designs, develops and delivers HR related training to business partners.

·         Implements and annually updates compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys and develops merit pool (salary budget); analyzes compensation; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.

·         Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures.

·         Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws that impact HR; responds to government and employee inquiries or complaints, coordinates their resolution.

·         Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.

·         Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors employee development program, employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing; writes and places advertisements.

·         Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars. Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.

·         Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

 

Position Requirements:

Forman Education Certifications

·         Bachelor’s degree required

·         Masters or MBA preferred

·         Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.

 

Knowledge Experience

·         At least seven (7) years of Human Resources experience

·         Five years of progressive supervisory/management experience

·         Able to represent the company in a professional and positive manner

·         Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and to maintain effective relationships employees at all levels

·         Maintains a high degree of confidentiality

·         Well-organized and self-directed

·         Able to perform duties with minimal direction and independently plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload

·         Knowledge of compensation, benefits, training, and talent development.

·         Experience with ADP is preferred.

·         Able to effectively communicate and present information, both verbally and in writing, to superiors, colleagues, and individuals both inside and outside the Company

·         Understanding of high level recruiting methods

·         In depth understanding of tactical HR practices

·         Solid knowledge of federal and state HR laws

 

Work Conditions

·         Office Environment

·         Ability to work extended hours including evenings, weekends and some holidays

·         On-call availability

·         Willing to travel 15%
