' A Bachelor of Arts/Science (B.A./B.S.) degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
' Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible related experience in employee relations and HR compliance administration and analyses
' Five (5) years of experience performing employee relations functions including responding to legal correspondence, DFEH, and EEOC inquiries
' Minimum five (5) years of management and/or supervisory experience
' Strong knowledge and proficiency in HR laws, rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and procedures (i.e. federal, state, county and local)
' Strong knowledge of current labor codes and laws
' Ability to maintain highest levels of confidentiality
' Excellent in-person, phone, and electronic based interpersonal skills
' Excellent verbal and written communication skills
' Advanced knowledge of HRIS, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook (MS Access preferred)
' Excellent business and negotiation, sales, presentation and training skills.
' Excellent file management and auditing skills
' Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within human resources
' Ability to promote and maintain favorable working relationships and promote customer satisfaction
' Must be able to travel to remote sites and work at those sites on an as needed basis
' Possess a professional demeanor, poise under pressure with strong attention to detail, and well-developed time management skills
' Must be able to work in a fast-paced, pressured work environment
' Ability to work in a diverse and challenged workforce
Preferred Qualifications
' Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources or related field
' Certified Mediator
' Certified in Lawful Investigations
