We are seeking to hire an Executive, Human Resources, in Payroll and Benefits, to be part of a dynamic Human Resources team. The position will be based in Singapore and the incumbent shall report directly to Director, Human Resources. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a well-established fund management company.
Duties Responsibilities
Payroll Administration:
- Act as the first level payroll checker for payroll reports submitted by the payroll vendor
- Prepare and ensure timely and accurate submission of:
- Monthly payroll instructions to the payroll vendor
- Monthly headcount and payroll reports to Finance
- Monthly International Staff Pension contribution report to the regional office for eligible employees
- Annual Income tax returns to the IRAS
- Applications to relevant government bodies for concessions, refunds and claims (e.g. maternity/child care leave and military leave make-up pay claims)
- Any other periodic and ad-hoc reports for finance, audit, regulatory and tax reporting
- Verify monthly CPF contributions submitted by the payroll vendor
- Attend to payroll related queries from employees
Benefits Administration:
- Ensure that changes in employee benefit entitlements as a result of staff movement, life events etc are communicated to the third party benefits administration providers in a timely manner
- Assist with flex points allocation verification and the annual enrolment exercise for employee benefits
- Assist with the employees’ share options administration such as the monthly withdrawal report, annual launch and ad hoc report requests
- Attend to benefits related queries from employees
Other HR Duties:
- Manage the off-boarding process for leavers upon receipt of the termination notification from the HR Business Partners
- Coordinate with HR Business Partners and hiring managers on the new hire probation confirmation process
- Perform mandatory leave and claims audits
- Administer employee e-leave system
- Assist in ad-hoc projects as required
Background and Education
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources
- 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in a Payroll function
- Excellent time management skills and able to multi-task
- Strong team player
- Well organised, efficient and self-motivated
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Great attention to detail and able to produce accurate work at all times
- Flexible and positive attitude
- Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential
