HR Generalist will be responsible for providing support to business segment HR team.  Will focus primarily in areas of employee relations, management coaching and development, benefits administration, performance management and HRIS administration.

 

III. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCES:

Requires Bachelors degree in HR, business or other relevant discipline
3-5 years of HR Generalist experience
Experience in performance management, benefits administration, and employee relations
Knowledge of relevant employment laws and practices
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office tools

PHR Certification preferred

 

 

IV. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:    Administer business unit benefit programs (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, 401(k), Unemployment); serve as employee resource on related matters     ഊSupport performance management process for business units through coaching and education of employees and managers      ഊAssist with the resolution of employee relations issues; provide advice, guidance and direction as necessary 
Collection, consolidation and analysis of HR data for metrics and reporting     ഊAssist in the design and documentation of HR processes that result in more efficient utilization of shared services, HRIS system and better data integrity     ഊConduct new employee orientation to ensure proper entry in to company; educate others in benefit plans and enrollment processes     ഊCoordinate employer sponsored events and activities as necessary     ഊAssist as needed in other HR activities (policy updates, exit interviews, recruitment, wellness, etc)     ഊManage Annual Open Enrollment process, including selection of vendors, employee communication and education for Employee Self Service module. 

 

VI. NATURE SCOPE:
Will work with limited supervision.  Must be able to work with HR team as well as other functional groups including IT and Marketing on project assignments.  Will also participate in evaluation of external tools.
