As the business based Human Resources (BBHR) partner to the Supply Chain organization, the Human Resources Manager will leverage their Human Resources (HR) expertise to develop and implement Human Resources strategies and processes supporting overall business objectives. Key HR competencies that will be utilized include organizational design, change management, employee relations, talent acquisition and retention strategies, employee development, succession planning and leadership team development. Promotion of positive employee relations through design, communication and interpretation of HR policies and programs is also a critical part of the role. A strong focus will be placed on the diagnosis and implementation of strategies to improve individual as well as organizational performance. The role also requires the ability to understand the big picture, in addition working at the detailed level, while anticipating challenges and opportunities. Finally, the BBHR Partner will ensure that the appropriate linkage exists with the HR specialty groups (e.g. - Global Talent Management, Global Recruiting, ER, Compensation, On-Site Vendor Management Representatives, etc.), other regional and functional Supply Chain HR partners, and respective client groups take place in order to promote consistency in HR policies/practices across a highly matrixed, high volume and highly automated manufacturing environment.
The BBHR partner is expected to demonstrate a high level of general business acumen, knowledge of the healthcare industry, and ideally the specific businesses associated with vision care. He/she will develop highly effective relationships with business leaders and individuals at all levels of the organization through full engagement, commitment to the delivery of results, and the highest levels of integrity and professionalism. This person will demonstrate strong leadership abilities to guide or direct others through action or influence. A successful candidate must also have the ability to understand strategic issues impacting the business unit and company, and demonstrate the ability to utilize various methodologies to diagnose organizational effectiveness. Other required skills include a broad business understanding, strong organizational consulting skills and strong analytical and communication skills (oral and written). The successful candidate will also demonstrate a firm foundation in change management and organizational design beyond just theory in order to partner effectively and creatively with a continually changing organization. Finally, expertise in managing and resolving employee relations issues is critical to the role.

Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree required; a Masters Degree in Human Resources preferred. Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience required. Previous experience supporting a Supply Chain business is preferred. Experience in compensation, organizational design and/or development, employee relations, talent management, performance management, and succession and development planning is preferred. This position is located in Jacksonville, FL and may require up to 10% travel.
