Human Resources Manager (Warren, MI)
Seeking a full-time Human Resource Manager to manage all Human Resource functions for 200 employees. Must have a minimum of five (5) years Human Resource Manager experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong recruiting background. The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for managing all functions of Human Resources for 4 divisions.
The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for the following functions:
- Updating and implementing of company policies procedures
- Administration of all company benefit programs for all locations
- Development of company wide job descriptions
- Develop implement a Performance Appraisal Process
- Unemployment Workers’ Compensation administration
- Updating current Employee Handbook
- Create administer a comprehensive New Hire Orientation packet
- Conduct new hire orientations
- Create maintain employee files, I-9’s, medical records
- Recruiting functions for exempt non-exempt positions
- Interviewing responsibilities for exempt non-exempt positions
- Administer pre-employment testing, background checks
- Establish administer an HRIS system
- Serve as a backup person for ADP payroll
- Supervisor responsibilities for HR staff
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years experience as a HR Manager in a Manufacturing environment
- ADP/HRIS experience preferred
- Highly organized efficient individual
- Work well in a fast paced environment interact with all levels of management
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory standards related to the HR function
- Excellent verbal written communication skills
