Our client wishes to secure their position in Canada as a dominant player in the Western Canada marketplace by adding an extremely talented Human Resources Manager to their exciting and dynamic team. This initiative has complete Senior Executive and Board Room level support and, as a result, the successful candidate will be provided with all the tools and resources required to ensure success.
Your overall goal will be to provide exceptional service to your client group (over 250) located in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg.
Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources, you will be the sole driving force behind all HR initiatives in Western Canada. As such, you should be well read in a broad array of HR functions and be comfortable working at both a strategic and a tactical level; in other words, no job is too big or too small! Aiding and abetting your efforts to provide quality HR support to this extensive client group will be an HR Coordinator that you will be charged to direct and manage.
The perfect candidate will not only be a well-rounded Human Resources Generalist but also have had experience working within service driven environment (logistics or freight forwarding preferred). Experience managing a client group that resides within various branches across a disparate array of geographical locations is essential.
