Human Resources Operations Business Partner Supervisor
The Human Resources Operations Business Partner Supervisor provides high-quality HR products/services to assigned client group in HR related disciplines such as recruiting, performance management, organization effectiveness, compensations and benefits, compliance, and employee relations/labor relations matters.
- Guide staff toward the accomplishment of identified objectives by developing, coaching, empowering and influencing.
- Successfully integrate various HR products/services/processes to meet strategic business needs.
- Interpret organizational strategies and offer up appropriate HR solutions.
- Role model the HR business model to customers and stakeholders.
- Provide effective leadership in the areas of organizational change, HR strategy development, recruitment methodologies, and appropriate service design.
- Provide strategic management of HR programs and services in order to establish and maintain competitive programs that attract and retain high quality employees in a cost effective manner.
- Collaborate on the future direction of HR including involvement in management initiatives.
- Collaborate on development and delivery of HR policies, practices, and procedures that guide the business while achieving compliance.
- Collaborate on development and/or redesign of HR products and participates in the implementation process
- Collaborate on HR initiatives involving cultural change issues,organizational design/redesign, or policy changes
- Participate in the internal marketing of HR to the rest of the organization
- Advises leadership on local legal and regulatory requirements
- Support the business in embedding business diversity and inclusion priorities in alignment with policies.
Implements Human Resources policies as a generalist, partnering with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives and resolves HR issues. Responsible for and/or serves as a HR liaison for most of the following areas: succession planning, talent management, labor relations, employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and/or training and development.
- Undergraduate Degree is required, advanced degree preferred. Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or relevant operations field.
- Experience in Human Resources and/or manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of defense industry a plus.
- A minimum of 12 years experience as a HR Generalist, with 4 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong computer skills using latest technologies in Microsoft, HRIS and Applicant Tracking tools.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent full-time basis.
This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicants skills, education and experience.
