Title: Chemical Business Team Leader - Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness
Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the Chemical Engineering Squad program.
Develop and implement in support of the four plants and the commercial operations a co-op or intern program.
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in HR discipline with a minimum of 2 years of experience related to talent management and in leading a team
- Masters Degree, preferred
- PHR or SPHR certification, preferred
- Previous experience in HR in both union-free and union manufacturing settings is strongly desired
- Minimum 5 years experience in HR/OD staff/management position
- Experience in training/development of training
- Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Knowledge of legal compliance issues, to include EEO, AAP, OFCCP, ADA, FMLA, compensation, systems, training methods and procedures, OD
- principals, recruiting and staffing
- Ability to facilitate meetings and to delegate as appropriate in a team environment.
- Development, coordination, implementation and administration of tactical and strategic planning.
- Drive strategic direction and results achieved in all phases of talent management, which includes recruitment, training and development, succession planning, performance management process, retention and systems support and development to ensure the growth and success of the chemical business within Goodyear.
- Manage employment activities at the Chemical Operations level to include: implementation and ongoing management of an engineering "squad" program; co-op and internship programs. Develop college recruiting plan and retention plans. Manage all hiring and internal transfers of divisional
- leaders, managers and staff as required. Support external Mid-level management hiring and transfers for Chemical division as required. Oversee plant hiring processes to ensure compliance with Federal, State and corporate requirements. Administrator/Auditor of Selection/Interview systems.
- Support HR functions as requested at all Chemical Operations Facilities (i.e. Employment, AAP, negotiations, special assignments).
- Audit HR systems and processes and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Coordinate with NAT training staff opportunities for cross-training of chemical division associates with NAT leadership. Identify suitable opportunities within the Corporation.
