Job Description:
Reporting to the National HR Manager, this individual will be responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new creative recruiting ideas. The HR Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
· Develop and execute recruiting plans.
· Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees
· Coordinate and implement recruiting initiatives
· Work with hiring managers on recruiting
· Create job descriptions
· Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position
· Efficiently and effectively fill open positions
· Research and recommend new sources for recruiting
· Build networks to find qualified candidates
· Post openings on websites, professional organizations, newspapers, etc.
· Utilize the Internet for recruitment
· Post positions to appropriate Internet sources
· Use social networking sites to identify and source candidates
· Manage the use of recruiters and headhunters when necessary
· Administrative duties and recordkeeping
· Logging all applicants to comply with Affirmative Action guidelines
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required
· 5+ years recruiting experience
· Previous experience recruiting in a manufacturing environment
· Skilled use of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Detail oriented
· Must be able to work in a team environment and follow deadlines
· Good leadership skills
· Results and success oriented individual
· Proactive, positive, professional, team-minded, and self motivating
