HVAC Area Service Sales Manager

Carrier Commercial Service currently has an opportunity for an experienced, results-oriented commercial HVAC Area Service Sales Manager in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.

This position will be responsible for the design and execution of sales strategies, policies and programs for the applied commercial service, energy services and control product lines. The Sales Manager will identify opportunities for bundled sales growth potential within the market while sustaining growth in each core product line. Additionally, the ability to build strong and positive relationships with existing, new and future building owners and contractors is highly critical to meeting strategic targets. You will recruit, develop, lead and mentor a team of Service Sales Representatives in sales practices, service marketing, productivity, efficiency, performance, training and employee development.

Additional responsibilities:
- Sales forecasting.
- Identify market opportunities and develop strategies to maximize impact to Carrier.
- Participate in development of long-range sales planning and growth strategies.

This position will work closely with and report to the Indianapolis Area Manager, Alex Fyffe.

- BA/BS degree with 6-10+ years experience.
- MA/MS degree with 4-7+ years experience.

- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related discipline required.
- 5+ years HVAC commercial service selling experience.
- 5+ years successfully developing new customer accounts.
- Selling Experience with decision-makers such as CEO, CFO and some Directors.
- At least five years commercial HVAC experience with knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
- Self motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence customer' key decision-makers.
- Willingness and ability to regularly travel throughout the assigned territory.
