HVAC Controls Sales Account Manager Job in Louisville, Kentucky US

 

We are seeking an HVAC Controls Sales Account Manager for our client’s Louisville, KY office.  Our client is an HVAC company that is continuing to grow and has the need for additional staff.  The successful candidate for the HVAC Controls Sales Account Manager position will be responsible for:

 

·        Developing relationships with customers, including project managers, project engineers, construction, purchasing, and accounts payable. 

·        Preparing cost estimates consisting of materials, sub-contractors, purchased equipment, labor, and other construction-related activities to assist Account Managers in bidding on or determining price of project. 

·        Coordinating with consulting engineers in writing project specifications. 

·         Preparing sub-contractor request for quotation’s (RFQ) including: scope statements; plans and milestone dates; specs; bonding requirements; and billing schedule of values.

The successful candidate for the HVAC Controls Sales Account Manager position will meet the following requirements:

 

  • 5 or more years of proven experience in the HVAC market with sales experience for HVAC systems controls, and process control systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
  • Controls sales experience in the Kentucky is highly desirable
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret plans and specifications, contract documents, control drawings, service bulletins, equipment specifications and governmental regulations
  • Must have strong communication, organization, math, people and computer skills.
