HVAC Service Technician (Irving TX)
Job Description Job Summary: The HV Service Technician is responsible for providing timely and quality repairs of customers products (Heat Pumps, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Gas and Oil Furnaces Boilers) while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Additionally, this position promotes and sells additional products and services that directly impact the profitability of the Company. Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements Education/Training ? High School Education or equivalent preferred ? Master License holder are asked to apply ? Must posses valid drivers license and comprehensive vehicle insurance ? Must be over 18 years of age Experience ? Complete knowledge of HVAC systems with strong diagnosis/repair skills ? Minimum of two years HVAC service experience that includes install, repair and diagnosing problem ? Specialized training via classroom certification or on the job training in HVAC installation, repair and maintenance Role specific abilities/skills ? Must have reliable vehicle that can transport tools and equipment associated with HVAC repair and replacement ? Complete knowledge of HVAC systems with strong diagnosis/repair skills ? Ability to drive long distances and overnight travel as required ? Represent the company in a professional manner at all times with conformance to the Code of Conduct and Sears Ethical Business Practices ? Able to do work in confined spaces and at heights, including roof tops with pitched roof surfaces, attics and crawl spaces as required to perform inspections, repairs and installations ? Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, stretching, twisting and climbing as required for inspections, repairs, and installations ? Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs ? Ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal communications with customers, peers, and supervisors. Years Experience 2 - 5 Years Experience Preferred Minimum Education High School / GED
