Objective: This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing HVAC equipment, duct work, controls, exhaust equipment and kitchen equipment. Responsibilities: ï¬Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to determine problems and perform necessary repairs ï¬Maintain HVAC equipment on an ongoing basis as part of the facilities preventive maintenance program ï¬Installs duct work refrigeration piping, air conditioning units, and exhaust equipment ï¬Repair kitchen equipment such as walk-in coolers, freezers, refrigerators, and ice makers ï¬Perform other related duties as assigned, assisting other tradesmen, and emergency repairs ï¬Adhere to established HVAC work order preventive maintenance schedule ï¬Provide labor for preventive maintenance and repairs to HVAC equipment and systems ï¬HVAC chiller maintenance and repairs ï¬Adhere to established HVAC work order preventive maintenance schedule ï¬Provide labor for preventive maintenance and repairs to HVAC equipment and systems ï¬HVAC chiller maintenance and repairs Scope of work: The nature and scope of work to be performed mandates service of a minimum of five (5) days per week, forty (40) hours per week. Reports to: Executive Director of Contracting Services Qualifications: Must have good public relations skills and good oral and written communication ability. Must be EPA certified/universal.
