HVAC/Facilities Maintenance Job in Ambler 19002, Pennsylvania Us
The HVAC/Facilities Maintenance must posse strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, diagnose, troubleshoot and desire to learn. Must be able to maintain and repair ice machines, process chiller, heating, ventilation equipment, pumps, fans dryers, PTAC, Split Duct Air Conditioning, compressors and other mechanical equipment, as necessary. Must be able to read and understand repair manuals, specifications, drawing and schematic diagrams. Performs preventative maintenance on refrigeration/HVAC control and operating systems as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Ability to analyze problems, recommend solutions and initiate repairs. Apply proper safety practices and follow procedures while performing maintenance tasks. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Additional duties includes: carpentry work such as dry wall, framing, fitting doors, repairing door locks, minor plumbing, sanding, painting, replacing molding, cove base, exterior repairs such as roof, windows and siding, minor electrical repairs and other general maintenance. Able to manage all aspects of the projects (managing cost, schedule, quality, performance) over the entire project lifecycle (Think, Study, Research, Plan, Implement). Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
Shoveling snow from walks and driveways as well as spreading salt to prevent ice build up. Must be on call in event of snow and/or other site emergencies. We are looking for a friendly, cooperative, customer service-minded attitude; team player.
