Hydraulic Lab Test Engineer/Supervisor Job in Grovetown 30813, Georgia Us
REPORTS TO: Hydraulic Lab Manager 2nd Shift
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Prepare, execute, and report pump, pipeline, viscometer, strain gauge, slurry and other testing. Lead and supervise Lab workers.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
1. Lead Lab workers in the setup of pumps, piping, instrumentation, and related equipment.
2. Maintain instrumentation calibration and records.
3. Execute testing and data collection to specified requirements.
4. Generate test reports.
5. Carry out demonstration testing and support training programs.
6. Assists with field testing.
7. Perform bench-scale slurry analysis.
8. Assists in vibration and sound level measurements.
9. Direct Lab workers in performing maintenance of equipment.
10. Ensure Lab area is kept clean, orderly, and professional.
11. Place a high priority on employee safety and environmental protection.
DELEGATED:
1. Lead supervise Lab workers on specified shift
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE (minimum required):
EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
EXPERIENCE: Six months to two years experience. Must be skilled with spreadsheets, word processing, and data acquisition applications. Knowledge of instrumentation, pumps, pipeline systems and drive equipment is desirable. Lifting up to 70 lbs., squatting, pulling, kneeling, pushing, and bending.
