Hydraulic Modeller Job in England, London Uk
My client is looking to recruit an Infoworks modeller to join their wastewater networks team. You could be based in one of five UK locations.
The successful candidate will join a team of modellers and multi-disciplinary engineering staff, and will play a key role in delivering existing wastewater modelling programme of work for the UK and international water industry. The successful candidate will be a key player in continuing to develop our technical expertise nationally and internationally and will contribute towards the overall future development of the business.
The ideal Candidate for this role should be degree or equivalent qualified with an aspiration to work towards chartered status (ICE, CIWEM). Ideally, the candidate will have some knowledge in the wastewater industry in UK.
Your main duties will include providing support on the scoping and development of hydraulic modelling studies. The role will also involve providing modelling support to design and delivery of waste water feasibility and engineering projects. Working as part of a team providing a responsive, customer focused service to external/internal clients your other duties will include:
Performing allocated tasks concerned with the delivery of the project, as directed by the Project Manager to agreed cost and timescales.
Providing technical input to ensure delivery of high quality, cost-effective technical work on projects.
Working with the hydraulic modelling team to develop tools to support feasibility studies.
Understanding the project and business goals and to help to meet them.
Driving to find new and better ways of doing things.
Communicating effectively internally and with clients.
