Our client is the UK's leading provider of hydraulic systems, distribution sales and services to the industrial market sector. They are now on the lookout for a motivated Hydraulic Service Engineer to join their team in Wakefield.
As a Hydraulic Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing our client's hydraulic systems at client sites throughout the UK. You will also be occasionally required to travel overseas.
Your key duties will include:
- Interpreting hydraulic schematic drawings and diagnosing faults
- Utilising your product and application knowledge to solve customer problems
- Delivering high levels of customer service
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Proven technical experience gained within the hydraulic, pneumatic or industrial industry
- Basic knowledge of proportional control systems
- A driving licence
As a Hydraulic Service Engineer, you must have a confident, organised approach. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also key.
Although not essential, knowledge of electrical control, PLC and machine control systems would be an advantage to your application.
