No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description 1.Optimize The Boeing Company's corporate reputation in India in support of business objectives, working across all stakeholder constituencies: traditional and digital media, customers, supplier-partners, government and industry leaders, academia, analysts, employees, shareholders, unions. 2.Support the business objectives of BCA, BDS, Corporate, Boeing International and EOT in India. 3.Measurably advance key stakeholder relationships. Help to weave Boeing into commercial, political and other constituencies; shift perceptions most critical to positive dialogs to gain support, help shape policies and limit competitor influence. 4.Partner with various Boeing organizations to implement the Boeing brand strategy, driving and leveraging greater brand equity in India. 5.Devise and deploy strategies to enhance perceptions that Boeing is a valuable corporate citizen and committed to a long-term partnership with India. 6.Serve as the Company spokesperson and represent the company before the media, customers, government organizations, opinion leaders and supplier-partners. 7.Support the implementation of internal communications plan with India-based employees. Competencies General Technical Relationship Management: Work with CVP and business units to identify the most critical stakeholder relationships for Boeing in India in order to be successful in the long term. Establish systematic relationship management program for Boeing covering all stakeholders and measure progress as set against investments. Internal Communications: 1.Research India employee base and develop specific communications products and services (e.g., newsletter, executive communications and outreach, employee meetings) that provide timely and credible information to employees to educate, inform, align, and motivate them to support the company's business plans and objectives. 2.Develop India-related content for company-wide internal publications (i.e. stories for Boeing News Now and Frontiers). Support efforts to develop a global growth mindset at Boeing. Measurement/Results: 1.Evaluate utilization of resources, ROI, and results achieved using evolving international communications metrics system. Regularly update results using new web tools and ensure key India internal stakeholders are aware of progress achieved. 2.Provide evidence re: how communications has forged new relationships, opened up new business dialogs and shaped opinion in favor of Boeing. 3.Use media tracking tools to measure favourability over time. 1.Exceptional market-focused business judgment and strong strategic counselling skills. 2.Strategic vision and creativity matched with hands-on tactical approach. Strategic Planning: 1.Draft and deploy cross-enterprise India communications plan (to cover all business units and all external stakeholders) with strategies/tactics that support business objectives in the country strategy. 2.Drive implementation to achieve results. Optimize strategic, tactical and fiscal efficiencies by leveraging cross-business unit communications programs and effectively managing external consultants. Regularly review progress and agree plan-shifts with CVP (Country Vice-President) and business units. Use new web tools to ensure updated plans are available online at all times to key internal stakeholders. 3.Contribute to the development of the Regional Communications strategy, providing counsel on major competitors core strategy and India government policy. Media Relations Public Affairs: 1.Act as company spokesperson and primary interface between Boeing and India media to encourage fair and accurate news coverage of Boeing, its products, services, and people. 2.Develop and maintain effective relationships with the media. Diversify media relationships to include not just trade and business reporters but technology, management, consumer travel - both in traditional and digital media outlets. 3.Respond to inquiries from local and foreign journalists based in India. Organize and lead news conferences, events and interviews with Boeing executives. Provide briefings for journalists. Ensure continuous flow of news stories and features to India media (press, TV, radio, online) to highlight Boeing activities in India. 4.Work closely with BCA/BDS Communications and International Corporate Communications to disseminate Boeing news releases, photos, backgrounders and other Boeing materials in India. 5.Coordinate editing, production and distribution of news releases and other print materials in India. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of materials, photo and video libraries containing information on Boeing and Boeing products 6.Supervise media monitoring of India articles. 7.Partner with Corporate and unit communicators to lead Boeing India's communications response
