The E,I, M Coordinator coordinates and directs the instrument, electrical, mechanical measurement, and controls activities for the Southern Area of the Amarillo Pipeline Division. Areas of responsibility include metering facilities, pump stations (engine and motor driven) and crude terminals on the WT10, WT80, MX, and EZ Pipeline. This position will be based out of the Company's Amarillo Pipeline Division office in Amarillo, Texas. The position is primarily responsible for the maintenance of Company assets located in the South Area of the division which ranges from Borger, Texas to Odessa, Texas and the southeastern portion of New Mexico. Travel is required up to 30% of the time. This position is covered by the DOT drug testing program. Responsibilities The E, I, M Coordinator may be responsible for: Health, Safety and Environmental Performing all duties of this position with a focus on safety, environmental protection and regulatory compliance. Completing and maintaining required safety/regulatory training (CBT). Complying with all applicable DOT and OSHA regulations, and safety policies and procedures. Provide expertise for and participate in operations and safety audits and PHA's Assists with development of cause and effect documentation for control systems Providing technical resources for electrical safety and compliance, including management of the arch flash training database Providing technical support for incident investigations Ensuring compliance with governmental regulations, company practices, and polices procedures Operations and Maintenance Support Coordinate and review PLC programming changes as defined within MOC's to support project or operational needs Provide field technicians with automation support; including coordination with a centralized automation team Identify and implement solutions for on-line product monitoring to be utilized for control and specification compliance Coordinate with field technicians, Area supervisors, control center, corporate project and technical services, contractors, and outside customers to provide technical assistance and execution guidance for regular maintenance activities Review and approve technical specifications for electrical, instrument and measurement replacement parts if not like kind Develop specifications for motors, starters, soft starters, disconnects, VFD and control valve replacements associated with major maintenance and as required on regular maintenance Provide technical expertise and coordination with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) for new instruments and equipment Develop specifications for new electrical, instrument and measurement components and equipment Maintaining technical and administrative records, including prints and project reports Capital project budget development and implementation Generate Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) when dictated by work scope and safety requirements Project identification with operations engineers, Area supervisor and technicians Obtain budgetary level estimates for budget submittal AFE development including project scope definition, estimate development and project execution plans Execute I, E and M projects less than $50,000 Define material specification, create procurement template and expedite materials through CPPL and supplier Coordinate project schedules with operations and construction contractor Provide monthly forecast, track actual and execute asset investment forms for project closure Ensure essential drawings are revised and stored in drawing database (FALCON) prior to closure Coordinate with Area supervisor, technicians and field automation team to identify long term controls and automation needs for the division Develop long term controls and automation replacement strategy with Supervisor of Pipeline Automation People Development and Training Develop training materials as needed and sponsor the technician training program Supports the development of technicians through formal / informal training and coaching Identify required training for technicians Provide training on electrical and instrument company policies for both technician's area supervisors when required Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned area Interface with JV partners and third parties as technical liaison Assist operations and Control Center with troubleshooting process control and safety shutdown system issues
