This position will reside within the Transportation organization of Phillips 66, the downstream company. Transportation Overview : ConocoPhillips owns or leases various Transportation assets - pipelines, terminals, marine vessels, railcars and trucks - to provide strategic, timely and environmentally safe delivery and storage of crude oil, refined products and natural gas liquids to its refineries and to carry refined products to the market. : The Technician, under the general direction of the Terminal Supervisor and guidance of the IE Coordinator maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment for terminal facilities in accordance with company policies, procedures and regulations. This position will be based out of the Company's Lincoln Terminal in Lincoln Nebraska. The position is responsible for the maintenance of Company assets located in the Central Terminal Division?s Lincoln Terminal and the Des Moines Iowa Terminal. Responsibilities : The I E Terminal Technician may be responsible for: Performing all duties of this position with a focus on safety, environmental protection and regulatory compliance Performing and providing technical support for installation, calibration, maintenance, and repairs of instrument and electrical equipment Performing installation, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of all equipment relating to truck loading racks. This will include rack equipment such as Allen Bradley programmable logic controller SLC 500?s, load rack presets, overfill protection, control valves and additive systems, and related equipment such as vapor combustion units Performing required pump maintenance and checks such as changing seals, pump motor alignment, vibration checks and etc Performing planned maintenance checks and calibration and timely submits appropriate reports Creating and responding to SAP notifications and process work orders, and maintaining current and accurate documentation of maintenance activities Maintaining technical and administrative records, including prints and project reports Minimizing downtime and unsafe conditions by performing preventative and predictive maintenance Initiating Management of Change requests for proposed changes to equipment, instrumentation and programs Assisting supervisors in changing technology/budget requirements. Pursuing cost reduction opportunities Be on call, responding to emergencies and maintain emergency response preparedness Participate in Emergency Response Training Driving teamwork throughout the area of responsibility Supervising, directing and training contract crews Active involvement in Safety Action Plans Completing and maintaining required safety/regulatory training (CBT). Comply with all applicable DOT and OSHA regulations, and safety policies and procedures
