OpportunityAn opening has developed for an additional
Analyst/Associate to work within the European Banks Team in London as supporting analyst covering Spain and Portugal.
We are seeking an experienced Banking or finance professional with suitable industry experience (finance, industry or banking).
Key responsibilities:Preparation of materials for the regular publication of researchSupport and involvement in regular external publications for the European banks teamCommunicate with Buy-side and Industry participants supporting the lead analyst.Develop skills to gain coverage over time of stocks and regionsMay require travel for marketing worldwide with lead analystMaintenance and update of valuation models and material for investment analysis

Qualifications
RequirementsPrior sell-side Equities experience is preferred, but is not a pre-requisite. The candidate needs to be able to write well and to be able to deal confidently with people at all levels in the organization and J.P. Morgan clients in the asset management industry. Spanish language strongly preferred.
Essential skills:Good Excel and PowerPoint knowledgeStrong analytical, accounting and quantitative skillsAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesPassionate about the stock market and asset management industryFluency in English is essential and bilingual with Spanish is strongly preferred*Candidates who have a solid accountancy background together with Spanish language skills would also be considered for this role (without the Research experience)
