The position is within the regulatory department of Finance. The group is a service-orientated business comprised of specialised individuals with knowledge and expertise in understanding, managing and delivering financial information to our regulators.
The group is also dedicated to adding value and improving efficiency, quality and controls.
The regulatory finance department is a high profile function, providing financial information to the Financial Services Authority, Bank of England, Office of National Statistics and the Federal Reserve Bank. The BAU team within Regulatory Finance is split into three areas: the Investment Firms group, the Banking Firms group and the Liquidity Reporting group.
Liquidity Reporting Group
The core responsibilities of the Liquidity Reporting group are:Preparation of the daily, monthly and quarterly returns for JPMorgan Securities Limited (JPMSL), JP Morgan Europe Limited (JPMEL), JPMorgan Markets Limited (JPMML) and JPMorgan International Bank (JPMIB).Daily monitoring of liquidity reporting requirement for all entities within the Liquidity Firms group.Interpretation of the Liquidity rules which form the basis of reporting and providing regulatory guidance to the business.Support Corporate Treasury and the businesses with other liquidity reporting requirements, voluntary and mandatory reporting of the Basel III (CRD IV and QIS) liquidity ratios and building of the global liquidity infrastructureProduction of inter- group credit facility report and other topical risk data reports (e.g. issuer credit rating report
Job Title - Liquidity Reporting Associate
We are looking for a candidate for the role of Liquidity Associate. A successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Act as the BAU Team contact point for the project management office and other change management areas
Sign off change requests and manage the change book of work in order to maintain and improve the current reporting infrastructure
Preparation and review of the daily Enhanced Mismatch Report (EMR) and weekly, monthly and quarterly FSA submissionsManaging the engagement with data providers and Middle Office to ensure data is fit for reportingSupporting the Team Lead, wider Regulatory area and Corporate Treasury with the Basel III reporting and global liquidity infrastructure requirement
Liaising with the business on liquidity and related regulatory matters.
This role offers good career prospects within the regulatory group and there is the possibility of mobility to other areas within JP Morgan after two years.
