The BusinessFX Prime Brokerage offers a number of services to various clients.
These clients include but or not limited to Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Electronic connectivity networks and Broker Dealers.
FX Prime Brokerage provides clients with execution credit limits and intermediation services which provides them with increased leverage and liquidity.
Additionally, the business provides clients with a number of operational and execution efficiencies.
This includes consolidated reporting (both real-time and T 1), ECN connectivity, GUI based/on screen position roll functionality, increased margin relief capabilities etc.
Given the changing regulatory environment, FX Prime Brokerage is currently expanding its offering to provide full FX clearing capabilities.
The Product RoleThis person will be responsible for investigating, analyzing and delivering product enhancements/solutions. She/he will report to the Global Head of Product Development. This person will be responsible for a subset of product development related activities. She/he will also work closely with the Head of Product Development to ensure that the FX business is implementing strategic product enhancements and improvements to stay ahead of the competition.
The role will entail closing out the existing product gaps while implementing product enhancements for existing FXPB Clients. Key success measures will include delivering on assigned product enhancements/solutions, and building relationships with support vendors and internal teams.
Further success measures will include representation of the following skills: product knowledge, business partnerships, project management, self motivation, and organization. This person will use his/her product/business knowledge to implement product changes and enhancements that deliver solutions to clients while maintaining controls.
As aVice President on the team the day to day work will include:
Ownership of delivering major product enhancements that will produce additional revenue to the businessWork and assist with new Electronic connectivity networks (ECNs)Delivering on key client clearing initiativesActing as point person for EMEA related client/product requestAssisting with Technology escalation/requestsAssisting with Risk requestAssisting with the daily product support of
the client solutions and sales teamAssisting with Business sign off on new product improvements/enhancements/releasesOffering ideas and suggestions on the best way to deliver strategic solutionsAssisting with and taking part in industry projects/initiativesEnsuring that project deliveries are managed in terms of risks, gaps, revenue opportunity and client demand.Deliver product solutions for new and existing clients, leveraging existing product experienceActing as a lead/escalation for priority day to day issues
Qualifications
Minimum of three years experience in Foreign Exchange, Prime Brokerage/intermediation and or client clearingMinimum of two years experience in RiskAbility to work autonomously through the analysis and business requirement stages of new product requestsA detailed understanding of both the business and operational side of FX and or PBAbility to work with and form relationships with both internally and externally counterpartsAbility to work in a demanding environment that may have shifting prioritiesAbility to quickly familiarize themselves to the existing infrastructure and act as a sounding board for questions and new requests.
Detailed understanding of various margining methodologies and risk expertiseAbility to remain focused on key strategic deliverables for the business while assisting/working through daily/smaller requests.
