The Japanese Equity Sales desk is looking for an Associate/VP-level candidate to join the North America-based team.Serving corporate, institutional and hedge fund clients, J.P.
Morgan offers a full-service global equities platform, with execution capabilities across all listed and over-the-counter market centers globally. In Japan, we provide advisory and execution capabilities and access to our global equities platform. Our capabilities include:
Block trading, Special equity trading, Program trading, Electronic client solutions, Commission management, and Transition management.
Responsibilities:
Marketing JP Morgan's equity products to the firm's institutional client base
Interacting with clients at a senior pm and analyst level
Learning about the Japanese equity markets
Meeting and travelling with the firm's analysts and corporate clients
Developing money-making ideas for pm's and analysts
Interacting with the Japanese-based sales and research departments
Supporting senior sales people and co-covering larger accounts
Will involve travel both within the US and to Japan

Qualifications
Bachelors' degree from a reputable university; MBA is preferredAt least 2 years experience in a Japan Equity Sales role is preferredFluency in Japanese language is mandatoryStrong interpersonal skillsHighly organized, detail oriented and proactiveTeam player and self starterExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validityExcellent technology skills with superior Excel and PowerPoint skills and ability to quickly learn new software applicationsJP Morgan Chase Co. offers an exceptional benefits program and a highly competitive compensation package.
