IB Ops. — FX eCommerce Sales Support/Trade Support – Associate recruitment
A junior associate position in the FX eComm middle office team covering both Sales support and trading support.
From Sales Support perspective, the role will support the FX Sales in AXJ region and their clients. Tasks arrange from on-boarding clients onto etrading platforms, providing demos when required, resolving trade queries, to gathering and analyzing MIS to improve service and increase usage. Sales Support will also include the client agenda, where the team will call or visit the clients to gather information for improvements. The person should have the general FX process knowledge, i.e confirmation and settlement
On the trading support side, the individual will monitor the trader's position and PL throughout the day, and resolve issues within the Operation Scope. The person will respond to queries on trading activities, i.e. pricing, trade booking details.
Given the complex Front Office, Operation, and Technology landscape, and that FX eComm MO has team members in 4 different countries, the person will be required to proactively communicate with these teams/members in various locations and be a true team player, in taking initiatives and ownership, sharing information, and having timely follow-up.
With constant changes and SRP, the person will also be involved in some projects, such as implementation.
Skills
- College graduate
- Minimum 3 years working experience, with 2 years in FX or FXO processes and ideally1 year in FX eComm.
- Thorough understanding of FX products and relevant processes such as trade capture, settlement and confirmation.
- Good client service exposure
- Excellent communication skills, and be able to deal with people internally and externally, in different areas and different locations.
- Being able to deal with pressure, with a positive attitude
- Exposure to project management.
