Compliance Regulatory Reporting (CRR) provides enterprise technology solutions for JP Morgan Compliance and Surveillance as well as Investment Bank Regulatory Reporting.
The Compliance team consists of approx. 10 applications that cover Transaction and Position Surveillance, Personal Trading Surveillance, Info bar Surveillance, Trace reporting, Takeover Panel, Account Review, AML functions and Listed Options Position Reporting into the OCC.
The Global Regulatory team consists of applications such as ARRT and Prism that provide transaction reporting, transparency reporting and other regulatory reports globally (in Asia this is 30 regulators in 7 local languages). In addition this team owns a foundational component to drive consistency for Withholding tax as a business service.This role
is responsible for the definition and execution of all Testing across the Compliance and Regulatory Reporting teams; for both BAU and Strategic agendas.
They will be responsible for designing and onboarding a team of testing analysts to meet the needs of the Core Processing and CRR testing agendas.The CRR Test Lead will be accountable for the delivery of all Testing on behalf of the Application, Project or Programme Manager for all internal and externally-driven technology changes in CRR applications.
This role will be responsible for the planning, design, management, execution and reporting of all testing activities for specified Projects or Programmes within CRR, working within the departmental test policy, using the QA and Testing Framework, approved testing tools and techniques and conforming to agreed standards, to ensure that new and amended software, hardware or netware, together with any application interfaces, performs as specified and as intended.The successful candidate will be expected to have considerable practical experience of both test execution and defining deliverable testing strategies across multiple stakeholders with positive results.
They will be someone who can have strong considerations for the wider business and technology goals, whilst being able to roll their sleeves up to make sure that commitments are achieved.

Core Responsibilities:
Co-operate with clients/users and senior staff as required to agree the testing approach and method to be employed for development projects.
Maintain awareness of testing alternatives at a level where they can be analysed and the most effective testing approach selected and agreed.
Ensure test approach documentation is reviewed and signed off with the regional departmental Lead Test Architect.
Define and execute upon appropriate levels of Testing to mitigate project risks identified with the user and technical teams.
Plan, arrange and facilitate meetings, workshops and relations with client/user staff during test planning and throughout subsequent development and testing activities.
Take responsibility at a high level for the proper conduct of stakeholder relationships whether internal or external to the project/programme/department/corporate teams.
Plan and oversee the planning of the system and acceptance tests and co-ordinate the execution of these plans
Create, validate and deliver the Test approach document for each significant piece of work with the appropriate stakeholders.
Ensure that any risks associated with the agreed test approach and the test plans are clearly documented and described to the clients/users and IT staff, along with suitable mitigation/remediation plans.
Manage all risks associated with the testing and escalate options for appropriate decision-making on preventative action before any risks become unacceptable.
Take responsibility for the liaising with technical teams for the provision of environments and production of Environment Specifications;

Take responsibility for the delivery of all testing assets and deliverables via enterprise Quality Center (or other approved test management tool)
Take responsibility for all phases of testing and the management of the testing activities within a development project
Take responsibility for early life-cycle validation and verification, and for the production and approval of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during a project.
Participate in Quality reviews at agreed points in the project life-cycle and report any deviation from the agreed Test Approach to the Technical Project manager
Manage teams of test specialists providing them with mentoring, coaching and succession planning where appropriate
Deliver monthly and weekly and daily reporting as defined in the test policy communications plan.
Complete the Test Completion Report and submit this as part of the Go/No Go into Production process. Ensure test completion reports are signed off by the regional lead test architect.
Ensure the reusability of all testing assets delivered in Quality Center' or via Quick Test Professional' (QTP) and ensure their safe archiving for each project (or for other appropriate toolsets)

Other Expectations:
ISTQB certification preferred (or equivalent)
At least 3 years experience of managing test teams of 5 people or more
5 years experience of testing in financial services
Proficient in the industry best-practice, toolsets and techniques
Proficient in automation principles
Ability to understand technical architecture of client / server and n-tier applications or mainframe infrastructure
Experience of testing in a high transactional multi-platform environment
Familiarity with fault management and escalation process
Good communication skills
Good analytical skills
Proven track record of leading multiple large programs with experience managing complex event processing, data analytics and algorithms.

Strong knowledge of the data warehousing and trade flow from front to back office.
Requires expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
