The Asset Backed Commercial Paper (ABCP) technology team is seeking an User Interface Developer who will work with Front and Middle office users to analyze business problems, design new business processes, and develop user interfaces to automate those processes.
The ABCP business within the J.P. Morgan Investment Bank structures deals for clients utilizing cash flow generating assets such as credit card and auto loan receivables.
The business in turn funds those deals by directly issuing Commercial Paper to institutional investors. The ABCP Technology team services all aspects of the business front-to-back, including deal origination, surveillance, risk management, credit, finance, general ledger posting, investor reporting, commercial paper issuance, cash management, and billing.
The Technology team is making a significant investment to re-engineer the current system.

Responsibilities include:' Responsible for the navigation, organization, interaction design, and business/user process engineering for the ABCP application. You will apply user-centered design methods to translate user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities into world-class user experiences for our front-office, middle-office, and finance users. As a seasoned practitioner, you will be expected to be self-directed, work directly with clients, and drive a point of view for the end-user facing solution.' Design and develop user-interfaces using WPF/XAML as part of a 3-tier Microsoft architecture.

Required:' A minimum of 3 years professional experience with process/task analysis and user interface development.' Strong analytical and writing skills.' The ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical colleagues.' A proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a dynamic business and technical environment that values positive changes.' Creative thinking and the ability to visualize elegant solutions to complex problems' Ability to work with a sense of urgency, while maintaining attention to detailWPF/XAMLBachelors degree.Desired:' Experience with User-Centered, Human-Computer Interaction, Information and/or Interface design' Project management experience' Knowledge of ABCP, Securitization, managed CDOs, or Fixed Income' C#, Prism
