Application Developer role in Fixed Income Public Finance Technology group to work on a Bond trading , electronic execution and risk mgmt platform.The candidate will be will responsible for building supporting a front-office bond trading system with trade capture, position management and settlement processing. The candidate will also be involved in building/integrating with PnL Risk components and integration with various ECNs (electronic venues).
Qualifications
The candidate needs to have a background in building financial applications (Trade processing, Risk mgmt, eTrading preferred) and a good understanding of fixed income concepts.
Technology or Application Experience Technology Requirements:
- Strong Java/J2EE programming background (multi threading, async programming, memory mgmt, JDBC, JMS, transaction mgmt etc.)- Good understanding of Relational databases, DB table design, SQL programming (Oracle preferred)- Web development in JSP/Servlets, webservices- Design and development of Rich Internet Applications (Adobe Flex preferred)- scripting languages:
Perl , Python and unix shell scripting, excel macros
