As a Technology Program Manager, you will work with the Fixed Income Chief Business Technologist,
other senior technology members within Fixed Income and across Investment Management America
as well as operations leadership in defining, prioritizing, monitoring, reporting
and achieving strategic objectives.
You will be integrally involved in the budgeting process and the ongoing analysis, adjustment
and reporting
of the
financials to all
levels of management.
Regularly communicate status of programs / projects
to all impacted stakeholders. Develop and manage program charter and business case. Provide the business management team (central PMO) with constructive feedback as it pertains to project or overall program performance. Apply knowledge of technical trends and vendor practices in Program/Project Management to ensure successful delivery of the program. Ensure compliance of application development activities with audit and information risk policies.Ensure process capability, control and improvement by developing and implementing relevant quality assurance procedures. Analyze project risks, costs, and benefits and make s relevant recommendations to business and technology leadership team. Develop processes and tools that encourage continuous performance improvements.You will establish and maintain working relationship with: technology management, business management, program sponsors, vendors, and business clients. Act as a communication channel between Technology and the business for ongoing program management status and issues, opening up communication channels, coordinating messages and setting business expectations. Manage workload of Project Managers proactively identifying and resolving issues that would present a risk to on-time implementation of the program/project. Play a major role in performance management. Develop, train, and coach team members. Promote effective teamwork and manage interpersonal issues. .

Qualifications
College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.Minimum
5-7 years of IT Project Management experience, or relevant business or team leadership.Minimum 5
years of Fixed Income experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions (e.g. transaction management, risk management etc.) and industries.Experience
with the budgeting and ongoing monitoring of financials.Must be self-motivated and self-directed.Excellent oral and written communication skills
