The Asset Backed Commercial Paper (ABCP) technology team is seeking a Senior Application Developer who will work with Front and Middle office users to analyze business problems, design new business processes, and develop software to automate those processes.
The ABCP business within the J.P. Morgan Investment Bank structures deals for clients utilizing cash flow generating assets such as credit card and auto loan receivables.
The business in turn funds those deals by directly issuing Commercial Paper to institutional investors. The ABCP Technology team services all aspects of the business front-to-back, including deal origination, surveillance, risk management, credit, finance, general ledger posting, investor reporting, commercial paper issuance, cash management, and billing.
The Technology team is making a significant investment to re-engineer the current system.

Responsibilities include:' Writing 3-tier software using Microsoft technologies: C#, SQL, WPF, WF, Winforms and WCF' Full SDLC in a high pressure and time critical environment' Support for existing systems which may include SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Visual Basic, VB.Net, T-SQL, or Business Object based work.' Writing clear and concise documentation. Typical documentation would be application design, requirements and specification documents.

Qualifications
Required:
' A minimum of 10 years professional experience writing software using an object-oriented language and a relational persistence layer.' A minimum of 5 years using C#.' A minimum of 5 years experience on any of the following Relational Databases: Sybase, Oracle, MS SQL Server.' A minimum of 2 year's of WPF experience preferably using Prism.' A high level of competency in Object Oriented Programming and selection of appropriate design patterns.' A demonstrably high level of competency in multi-threaded solutions.' Experience using a major source control system: TFS, RTC, SVN, Clearcase.' In depth hands-on work experience as a software developer in an Investment Banking or equivalent environment.C#, SQL, WPF, WF, Winforms and WCFBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, a related field of study, or equivalent relevant experience in information technology.
Desired:' Project management experience' Knowledge of ABCP, Securitization, managed CDOs, or Fixed Income' Masters degree
