IB Technology, Regulatory Reporting Program Manager recruitment
This role is to work in Investment Bank Technology as a Program Manager, based in Singapore, to work on in-house developed regulatory reporting platform. This role is part of a global regulatory reporting team which is located across Asia, EMEA and North America. This role will be reporting to Asia head of regulatory reporting. Candidate will be expected to have strong project management background and strong inter-personal skills.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Program Management
This role will be responsible for managing 3-4 projects simultaneously, with project managers reporting to him/her. On average, each of these projects will be 6 months duration with 4-8 resources working on them full time.

Must have skills Qualifications
- Must have minimum of 12+ years of experience
- Must have solid project/program management experience in banking technology projects.
- Degree in computer science or equivalent discipline from reputed University with good grades. Masters degree in business or IT will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills both in verbal and written communication. Ability to articulate very clearly and concisely at all level.
- Proven track record of stakeholder management and customer relationship management experience
- Experience in yearly financial planning, budgeting, tracking actual Vs planned spend and required reporting to senior management / stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding and experience in industry standard SDLC processes and procedures
- Experienced working in global team environment
- Experience working in the following technologies - Large Oracle database, PL/SQL, UNIX, or Java
- Experienced working in Singapore

Project initiation:
- Define Project scope, set up Project governance and structure, produce initial Project plan by closely working with stakeholders and SMEs.
Project plan management:
- On-going management of the Project plan, closely track change requests unplanned activities and communicate the impacts on a timely basis. Issues and risks management: Proactively track issues risks and take appropriate actions to overcome them.
Process management:
- Develop, internalize and apply consistent, documented processes to increase workplace performance.
Stakeholder management:
- Effective stakeholder communications - verbal and written, expectation management, facilitate decision making by providing right level of information, timely escalation when required.
Procurement and vendor management:
- Apply right techniques to maximize vendor contribution, vendor relationship management, implement measures to track and feedback on vendor performance.
Communication management:
- Implement and manage communication plan, ensure adequate on-going communication at all levels.
Financial management:
- Propose business cases to secure funding, effective management of budget, track actual Vs planned spend and highlight variance with adequate reasoning on a timely basis.
Quality management:
- Ensure high quality delivery at all phases of SDLC, ensure right balance is maintained between quality, functionality, schedule and cost.
People Management
- Consistently recruit, develop and retain A-players, and actively seek to improve performance and remove persistent under-achievers.
