IB Technology, VP – Asia Core Processing Technology Programme Manager (Derivatives) recruitment

This role is for a Programme Manager who will provide support and regional leadership of the Derivative Core Processing Platform (DCPP) and Cash Management Processing Platform (CMPP) programs for Core Processing Technology focused on building out strategic back office platforms to support derivatives, currencies commodities asset classes across the APAC region as well as cross-LOB cash management. The role also includes managing the existing legacy applications as they are migrated into the new platform as well as the ongoing work slate. Managing the relationships with wider technology, operations finance groups and senior stakeholders both regionally and globally is also a principal part of the role.

The successful candidate will lead a team of project managers and business analysts to deliver
a number of significant end-to-end projects; there will be interaction across front office systems through to credit risk and finance systems to enable the automation of trade processing. The DCPP platform includes settlements, confirmations, accounting and regulatory reporting whereas the CMPP platform focuses on cash management activities across multiple LOBs.

This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to implement strategic back office systems in the region. There will be broad exposure across multiple lines of business and all JPMorgan Asia locations.

Role Description:
The successful candidate will be accountable to the regional CBT and be responsible for managing incoming regional demand from multiple lines of businesses, managing project resources globally (Singapore, Mumbai, UK) and working closely with technology, operations finance stakeholders.

The role entails:

The successful candidate will have strong Programme/Project Management skills, strong understanding of the project life cycle, how to obtain commitments from other teams, previous hands-on project management experience.
