 Essential Functions:

1)     - Team members will be responsible for meeting financial and operating goals set by management, including revenue targets, portfolio targets, and cross-selling objectives.

Marketing: Collaborate with Relationship Managers (RMs) to market banks and affiliate’s capabilities to existing and potential clients. Frequently visit clients, together with RMs, portfolio managers, and relevant product groups, to make presentations and originate deals highlighting industry and product specialties and differentiators.

 Responsible for managing preparation of presentation materials, pitch books and other client materials for each business opportunity in collaboration with RMs, product offices, and Portfolio Management teams.

 Responsible for expanding client base within industry specialties by developing strategic relationships with C-level client executives. 

 Responsible for identifying and managing all resources necessary to meet and anticipate a client's needs.

 Responsible for institutionalizing the bank's relationship with clients by creating opportunities for senior management of the bank to develop relationships with appropriate senior client executives.

2)     Deal development and execution: Assume responsibility for organizing deal teams, together with RMs and relevant portfolio managers, product specialists, and other appropriate resources, for the timely and effective pursuit of new business opportunities. Provide solutions to develop the opportunity and follow up through the execution of the transaction.

3)   Target clients / pipeline list management: Responsible for continuous maintenance and management of the designated target clients list including associated reporting requirements for management, branches, and/or clients.  Reporting to be conducted according to standards developed by BTMU and LABD management and include complete and timely use of Saleforce.com or other system as designated by management.

       4)   Account Plan: Responsible for creation and execution of “Account Plans” for all                      existing and target clients. The account planning process will require collaboration,                      typically, with RMs, product offices, planning, and the NY/Branch Portfolio Management                teams.

Experience/Abilities:

1) Minimum 3-10 years experience with business origination, credit analysis skills and financial product training, preferably at major banks or investment banks.

2) Track record of achievements with CIB type transactions in the region.

3) More than 4-7 years of work experience in or with Latin America, with significant knowledge and understanding of the region.

4) Fluent in either Spanish or Portuguese.

Education: (Minimum educational requirements, professional qualifications and specific training)

BA; MBA or Masters Degree in Finance or Economics preferred.
