IBD Controller (Investment Banking Division) – Top Tier Investment BanK recruitment
My client a Top Tier Investment Bank with the biggest deal pipeline in Asia in Investment Banking at this time is looking for an Investment Banking Division (IBD) Controller.
IBD Product Control provides dedicated financial control and business analytical support to IBD Global Capital Markets (GCM). Key clients of this role are IBD and GCM in Asia, particularly Hong Kong and Greater China.
The successful individuals will act as the key interface between IBD/GCM Asia management and various areas in Finance. You will be involved in reporting, analysis and strategic initiatives of IBD/GCM from Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated financial control and business analytical support to IBD Non-Japan Asia/IBD China business
- Interact and liaise closely with various levels of IBD/GCM NJA/China business in
- Day-to-day booking/maintenance of general ledger of IBD - Processing of profit loss and balances sheet entries, P/L and Balance sheet control / verification / review and System reconciliation - Investigate and liaise / follow up on any reconciling differences
- Review and coordinate with Finance/PC/business in various Asia locations (including China) in the booking of revenue, expenses and balance sheet accounts, the billing of expenses to clients and the subsequent reimbursements to be made to various locations and to ensure these locations are SOX compliant and that appropriate supporting documentations are retained as evidence
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience in Product Control (3-5 years relevant experience)
- Fluent in Mandarin
