Identity Access Administrator for Emergency Privileged Access

IT Risk Security Management's (ITRSM) purpose is to ensure the security and resiliency of the Firm's computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally. We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of business information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm's risk posture. The IT Risk team is composed of firm-wide functions (IT Risk Management, Infrastructure Security Solutions, Identity Access Management, and Application security) as well as business-aligned risk resiliency management teams that effect the technology risk program across JPMC. Position Summary: Responsible for administering emergency privileged accounts contained within the firm wide strategic tool (Cyber Ark - EPV). Responsibilities; Perform security administration on Privileged Emergency ID's residing on various platforms (Mainframe, UNIX, AD, AS400, etc.) and contained on the firm wide strategic tool, ensuring access is granted in accordance with the Logical Access Control policy. Analysis of requests for potential risk before action. Escalating, rejecting and querying requests where necessary. Review and maintain process/procedural documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve security system access issues: Break fix support of access rights for privileged and emergency accounts and issues where users have trouble checking out break fix accounts. This requires knowledge of multiple systems, as well as a general understanding of the functionality for these systems. Technical expertise may be required on some platforms. Answer general inquiries regarding information security practices or security access: Make recommendations for implementing desired level of access controls. Participate in implementation of security related projects for new/enhanced technology: Perform required tasks to implement new or enhanced security products and tools on supported platforms. Participate in meetings as required. Engage other technical support groups as deemed appropriate. Identify process deficiencies and suggest process improvements. Support BCP/DR Testing initiatives. Participate in audit support activities, as they pertain to Information Security, for both internal and external audits: Perform audit support tasks as assigned. Research supporting documentation. Perform required activities to resolve open audit issues. Prioritize workload accordingly in order to accommodate critical audit activities such as SOX. Interface with Information Risk Managers to identify potential access control risk issues: Follow process and procedures to ensure compliance with policy. Report all suspicious activity or non-compliant access rights to management and IRM. Provide daily customer support in order to ensure customer satisfaction: Develop and maintain good relationships with lines of business. Ensure communication is customer focused and professional. Be flexible to work within a 24 X 7 work schedule. Occasional overtime may be required. Reporting: Perform ad-hoc reporting in support of various LOB initiatives. Maintain individual records for departmental metric reporting. Compile metric reporting data as necessary. Ensure timely and accurate time recording in PAR. Performance Management: Progress personal objectives, as agreed with your Supervisor/Manager, within the documented time scales. Report progress and issues. Process Improvement: Recommend procedural changes to enhance the functionality of the Risk and Security Management Team. Identify opportunities to automate or streamline current processes. Communicate with global peers across ITRSM, focusing on service delivery improvements.
