IFRS Business Analyst Investment Banking London
For this large Investment Bank we are looking for a Business Analyst with IFRS 7 IFRS 13 experience.
Requirements of the job
Manage projects through entire project lifecycle from feasibility study to delivery, this includes:
- Analysis of user requirements and business processes, identification of key issues
- Preparation of detailed functional specifications for delivery to IT
- Liaison with IT and business areas to resolve outstanding issues
- Prepare detailed testing and conversion plans
- Conduct and co-ordinate system and user acceptance testing
- Investigation of on going problems raised by users. Co-ordinating and testing new releases of software with IT
- Specification of the business requirements for systems enhancements
The role requires around 75% business analysis and 25% project management. It may be possible to step in on-going projects as a back-up.
- Good understanding of the products used by an Investment Bank
- Strong accounting skills
- Strong systems skills, good understanding of IT databases (although programming skills are not required)
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to project deadlines, sense of drive and urgency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate and relate easily with IT, Finance users and back office managers
Qualified accountant or other relevant professional qualification.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability to both manage a project and provide detailed analysis at a “hands-on” level.
