Illiquid Credit Trader, Fixed Income, Top Tier Investment Bank, Vienna, Austria recruitment
Requirements:
• The ideal candidates must have a minimum of 7 years relevant experience at a top tier investment bank or equivalent institution
• An illiquid credit trading background and experience in European markets originating local risk for distribuition
• A proven track record of leading transactions independently, including the ability to operate in an emerging local structure with appropriate junior support
• Strong valuation skills, an exceptional academic track record and excellent team player
• Fluency in German is required
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate the credit risk of illiquid, usually single borrower instruments
• Market making European High Yield Loans and bonds
• The origination and distribution of transactions
• In addition to the critical soft management skills of leading a deal, the candidate will still need to work with models, documentation and perform diligence as necessary in order to bring a transaction to a close
