IMAC Manager Job in Toronto/Gta, Ontario Canada
Our client is Canada 's largest, publicly traded construction and infrastructure development company. The incumbent would be primarily responsible for the many requests that relates to Install, Moves, Add and Changes to technology. This position is responsible for procurement of IT equipment, running and administration of RFP's and asset management. Direct Reports to this manager would include: IT procurement, telecom maintenance, asset Management and computer deployment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for Asset management and leasing returns
- Responsible for telecom
- Responsible for Procurement and should have some background in running an effective RFP process
- Development of printing strategy and maintenance of the printing fleet
- Meeting with suppliers to develop software purchase strategy
- Maintenance agreements as they pertain to software
- Responsible for Microsoft's EA agreement
- Assistance with the Change Management process
- Working on Compliance issues
- ITIL CMDB maintenance and creation
- Starting point for CI items
- Remedy maintenance
- Business billing with budgetary allocations
- Deal with visitors and employees in person and on the telephone
- Communicates with supervisor to resolve issues as they arise
- Communicates with co-workers daily to resolve issues
Required Knowledge Skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience procurement and purchasing
- ITIL Foundations Certification or equivalent work experience
- Obtain new certifications training on an annual basis as outlined in employee scorecards
- Working knowledge of IT Terms and technology
- Experience working in a team environment
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
- Experience with enterprise class ticketing / incident management systems Remedy
- Some telecom knowledge
- Excellent project, time management and troubleshooting skills
- A disciplined approach to work and be process focused
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to work at least eight hours per day
- Ability to lift and carry computer systems and peripherals
