Imaging Process Engineer / Coordinator
As a Fab 4 Pilot Line Imaging Process Control Coordinator at Micron, you will be responsible for process monitoring, quality awareness, and providing improvement plans for SPC systems and processes. In this position you will interact with Development, Process Integration, and Production; provide QDR documentation and proactive follow-up; and respond to SPC performance issues. You will also ensure the quality process of daily operations, communicate best known methods, and formulate action plans. Additionally, you will communicate with shift engineering on process control issues; notify production of special processing requests and their impact on production; and ensure operational specifications and guidelines are maintained. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: SWORD (workstation improvement) actions. Attending any necessary meetings, compiling and presenting every 7-weeks to management assigned projects. Correcting any CT / capacity related issues in the area related to OOC/OOS holds. (reaction time, reaction quality, sample plans, RPT issues, etc) Working with pilot process owners, PI and development on chronic Cpk issues. Developing long term process fixes to reduce variation and improve process margin. Updating weekly photo area metrics as requested. Participating in world-wide SPC meetings as requested. Assisting with SPC software setup, testing, and transfer to production fabs. Working with PI and DEV eng to resolve control issues and implement new control strategies. Addressing concerns from the shift imaging staff. Assisting with the training of the imaging shift staff where needed. Providing assistance for and/or maintain the ENG procedures and reaction mechanisms. Participating in area required SPC meetings.
