Banking/Finance Sales (Inside Sales Retail Customer Service)

·         Building trust, confidentiality and relationships with individual and business customers

·         Responding to Bank Teller customer referrals needing follow up on products services

·         Conducting business development calls to prospective customers and current customers

·         Uncovering banking and finance needs, recommending, and helping customer acquire e.g. loans, different accounts, and/or credit cards; delivering top-tier customer service

·         Managing both the retail inside sales and outside sales activity for appropriate follow up, measuring and achieving overall sales results

·         Working closely with bank colleagues, Bank Tellers, Personal Bankers, and Sales Manager to realize both individual and branch sales goals

·         Gaining additional banking, finance, customer service, and sales knowledge through ongoing training and professional development 

 

Job Requirements

Our Personal Bankers come from a variety of different backgrounds, inside sales, outside sales, retail, banking, and/or finance. What they share in common is a desire to pursue a banking and finance career, passion for helping the customer and a drive to succeed. They also have the following:

·         A High School Diploma or GED is required; college is preferred

·         A minimum of 1 year of sales or finance experience is required; retail banking is a plus

·         Driven, flexible, coachable, resilient sales professional; both an effective individual contributor and a team player

·         Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills—outgoing, positive, and genuine

·         Mathematical skills required: add/subtract, multiply/divide, use fractions and decimals

·         Typing ability and Intermediate MSOffice Suite/Windows experience is required

·         Flexibility to work varied hours, including up to 7:30 pm and working some weekends

·         Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day and lift up to 30 lbs.
