Health and Social Care Assessor
Salary: £18k - £23k + benefits
Location: West Midlands
Currently recruiting for a Health and Social Care Assessor to come and work for a Grade 1 Ofsted Provider. The company are a large national organisation who manage training and employability needs of employers and employees across the UK. They operate across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and enjoy long-standing relationships with employers, funding bodies and training providers across the UK. They know the latest business and training issues affecting each industry sector today - and have innovative solutions for filling vital skills gaps and achieving business goals.
They offer national delivery of Welfare to Work contracts alongside an extensive portfolio of Learning and Skills Council (SFA) funded Train to Gain and Apprenticeship programmes covering all major sectors of industry and commerce and have just been successful in securing substantial funding through ESF.
As a result of this they are looking for an Assessor in Health Social Care (preferably elderly care) to join the team. As an assessor you will assess the Health Social Care qualification in addition to helping with the Health and Social Care training. Your role as an Assessor will be to keep regular contact with learners offering advice and support with Apprenticeships, Advanced Apprenticeships and National Vocational Qualifications. You must be able to manage your own diary effectively and efficiently.
To be successful in this role you will have an A1 Assessor qualification, with at least 3 years experience working within a Health Social Care environment, preferably care homes. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
